- The Ministry of University and Research (MUR) is funding the awarding, by the fourth quarter of 2022, of at least 300 research grants to young researchers who are European Research Council (ERC) grant winners, MSCA grant winners, and "Seal of excellence" recipients.
- The funding is part of the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4 "Education and Research" - Component 2 "From research to enterprise", Investment 1.2 "Funding of projects submitted by young researchers" and in line with the Operational Arrangements signed between the European Commission and the Ministry of Economy and Finance on 22 December 2021.
