From 22nd July to 24th July 2020 the Department of Information Engineering (DINFO) of the University of Florence with the support of IEEE Sensors Council - Italy Chapter will organize an International Summer School on Ultrasonic and Piezoelectric Sensors.
With the continuously changing travel restrictions due to COVID-19, the International Summer School will be online.
The School has as its main objective the participation of doctoral students but also Master students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Researchers and Professionals. The number of participants is limited to 50.
Researchers and academics with long experience in these fields will provide online lectures. Two keynote speakers with outstanding CV will give lectures.
Finally, two interactive demonstrations of ultrasonic systems will be organized in order to perform experiments remotely.
The duration of the School is 24 hours and will be declared with the Certification of Attendance in order to assign the equivalent credit for Ph.D. students.
