Department Council
The Department Council is the governing and policy-making body of the Department. It is chaired by the Head of the Department and is composed of all tenured professors and researchers affiliated with the Department, as well as representatives of the technical and administrative staff (15% of the members), in addition to the Administrative Manager.
The Department Regulations govern the participation of representatives of students, doctoral candidates, and research fellows. Meetings of the Council are valid if at least half plus one of the entitled members are present, except where different quorum requirements are established by law. Justified absences are not taken into account when determining the quorum for the validity of meetings.
